Read these instructions:
Because you don't have a limit on how many characters you can create to Roleplay at Echo Base, in order to keep track of them and how much money they have, you must put all the names and amount of credits of each one into the bottom of your signature.
It should look something like this:
(name goes here): ### credits
Avara------2,000
You can add in the profession of each character if you wish, but this is not necessary. The staff in charge have all your characters categorized in salary sectors according to your character's occupation.
Each character is paid once a month according to how much their character class says (see list below).
HOWEVER: If your character is not active for 2 months (you haven't roleplayed with him/her), then the character receives an "inactive penalty", and will not get paid as much (see rates below). On the other hand, if the character is very active, he/she gets benefits and is rewarded by a higher payment. You see, active RPers are rewarded!
(Eventually, the staff will halt all allowances on a person who never RPs here but still has characters.)
Money System:
How much money do I start off with?
Each character starts off with 2,000 credits. Put the character's name and credit amount in your sig.
How can my character make/get money?
You will get an allowance every month for your character - see list.
Spending money
You can spend money to buy weapons, ships, houses, or other things found in shops.
Clothes are free, but you can buy stuff like special gloves, capes, or helmets.
Clonetroopers or stormtroopers do not have to buy their armour or equipment.
For more information, please see this thread: New Rule
Ships and homes
Selling your home or ship
You can sell your home or ship in the sales office, and then add the amount you sold it for in your character's credit line in your sig. A mod will lock your home/starship thread, and
If you want to sell a used weapon, go to a shop and sell it there.
Can I start out with a ship?
If your character is over 19, he/she can start out will a small ship.
And if your character is over 29, he/she can start out with a larger ship, but no bigger than a Star Yacht.
What if I don't want a house? Do I need to buy one?
No, you do not need to buy a house if you are traveling from place to place all the time. However, if that be the case, you'll need a ship to live on.
