I thought it might be fun (and educational) to have a "word of the day" where we can post words and their definitions! Personally, I love to learn more words, and actually making use of the here might help me (and you!) to remember them. I have currently *counts* 14 sheets (both sides) of paper filled with new words that I write down when I find them of interest, and I thought I might as well share them! So if you ever come across a word you don't know/just learnt/think is neat and have the time, copy the definition from Dictionary.com and paste it here! They don't have to be in alphabetical order, and you can do more than one at once. I'll do a few. ;D *randomly picks from my stack* __________________________ Fulgent - Shining brilliantly; radiant Rhapsodize - To talk with extravagant enthusiasm Extirpate - (1) To pull out by the roots (2) To destroy, exterminate Drogue - A sea anchor
