Me three. Except it's worse for me, because it was a present for me last year. It's on my "To Read" list.

I started "Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader" on Saturday night and finished it Sunday morning. It was very insightful to those times immediately following Revenge of the Sith, and Darth Vader's grief and anger. I didn't really get into the whole Shryne/Olee Starstone plot, but the parts with Darth Vader were really good. Very insightful.

I'm re-reading The Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zhan since I last read them in the fall/winter of 2005. It's like watching a really good movie/s that I haven't seen in years, and picking up on all these things I'd forgotten. I'm near the middle of the third book, the Last Command. I have to say that I really love how all the main Star Wars characters are in it. It's like seeing old friends again, and they are written so "in-character" that I can imagine them and hear their voices through out the whole adventure. And all the new characters (Thrawn, Mara Jade, Karrde, Pellaeon) are so realistic that they are just as memorable! I can't say that about a whole lot of Star Wars EU characters. It's kind of weird how I remember the characters, but I can't remember everything in how the story turns out. So it's almost like reading it for the first time, minus a few key events.

I've been reading X-Wing: Wraith Squadron by Aaron Allston. I'm about a third through it. Pilot-talk, woohoo! I've missed it.
