The "Chlorine smell" of pool water is not, in fact, due to chlorine. When chlorine hits water, some of it reacts with the water in the following way:
2Cl² + 2H²O ----> 4HCl + O²
The small you get from a chlorinated pool is often the smell of the HCl produced in this reaction.
What is the ΔH of this reaction?

Close! 4HCl = 4 Hydrogen moles and one Chlorine mole Don't ask me why they call it a mole...

hmmm, weird Oh well, i got the basic idea of it, not bad for not being in Chemistry yet I don't have any idea what ΔH means, though

Yeah, you should be pretty good at it then. ΔH= Energy required to break bonds - Energy released when bonds form It's also the change in enthalpy (The energy change that accompanies a chemical reaction)

Yeah, you should be pretty good at it then. Yeah, i like science, it's neat sounds cool I should hurry and finish Biology, i think Chemistry might be next, if i remember what my mom said correctly o_-

I want to do Advanced Biology after Chemistry. ;d Or Marine Biology! <_< We are totally off topic here.
